Inside CTRL
Inside CTRL's Immersive Nightlife Experience in Springfield
How CTRL blends entertainment and hospitality into one immersive room in downtown Springfield, Missouri.
A Room Designed as One Experience
CTRL sits at 311 S Patton Ave in downtown Springfield, Missouri, and from the moment you walk in it reads as a single, connected environment rather than a collection of separate features. The walls, the side surfaces, the stage and the floor were treated as one canvas from the start, so the visuals wrap around you instead of pointing at you from a corner.
That was the founding idea for Jake Hildenbrandt and Aden Waters when they built CTRL as an 18+ immersive nightlife venue: the night should feel like something you step inside, not something you watch from across a room. Every design decision follows from that goal.
Entertainment and Hospitality, Together
We think of CTRL as equal parts entertainment and hospitality. The production is meant to move you, but the experience around it is meant to take care of you. Getting in, finding your group, having space to enjoy the night, and feeling welcome all matter as much as the show itself.
For guests who want a more reserved experience, VIP and table reservations are available through CTRL's event calendar, and our team is reachable by phone at (913) 283-4756 to help plan a night out.
LED, Sound and Lighting Built to Work as One
The visual heart of the room is a custom-mapped LED environment designed around the actual architecture of the space by experienced stage and visual professionals. Because the mapping follows the geometry of the walls, side surfaces and stage, the imagery feels native to the room rather than pasted onto it.
Sound comes from a Void Acoustics system chosen for clarity, pressure and impact across the floor. On top of that, our production layers moving light, beams, lasers, visual programming and CO₂ effects. None of these run on their own timelines. They are programmed together, around the music, so the room reacts as one instrument.
Three Nights, One Standard
CTRL runs weekly programming across three distinct nights: Latin Thursday for Latin music and movement, Hip-Hop Friday for quality hip-hop, and Saturday at CTRL, our full choreographed show. Each night has its own identity, but the production standard behind them stays consistent.
What makes CTRL different is that consistency of intent. Whether it is a Thursday or the main Saturday event, the room is designed to make you feel like part of the show. Event dates and reservations run through CTRL's event calendar.
